This list is a source of power to you. It shows you what you can and will do now . . . tomorrow . . . next week . . . next year. Be sure to keep this paper with you . . . read it just after rising and before going to bed.
Practice Project Two
The New Positive Concept Of Life Mastery ("Self-Control")
Here are the two keys that will help me use the power of my subconscious mind, to achieve the three goals circled on Practice Projects One:
1. I will deliberately control my conscious actions, keeping them always positive. This is the way I will build up my subconscious file of positive actions.
2. I will change negative habits by deliberately and consciously cultivating positive habits to take their place. (I remember that I can't erase anything in my subconscious.)
Keep these "keys" handy! You will use them more and more!
Practice Project Three
The Three Rules For New Subconscious Power
The more I use this formula every day, the sooner I will achieve the three personal goals for my new, positive life, which I circled on Practice Projects One:
1. (Major goal) For achieving my major goal I will deliberately condition my subconscious by what I do consciously.
2. (For achieving my deadline goal) I will wholeheartedly want the best results from such self-influenced action.
3. (For achieving my step-by-step goals) I will let my subconscious have free reign in demonstrating its power. I will let new, exciting things happen to me, knowing that they will happen to me.
Practice Project Four
A Budget Of Life
Fit This "Goal-Control Into Your Other Practice Projects
1. Major goals first. Establish positive, progressive goals you already have (in Chapter 6).
2. Alternative goals are important. You may switch to these any where along the line without losing ground, if circumstances require a change.
3. Use timetables for progress. As soon as each goal is established, put a timetable alongside of it. Be definite about how, where, and when. Remember, your subconscious wants specifics to work on.
4. Never turn back. Anticipate meeting obstacles, but anticipate overcoming them.
5. Variety is necessary. Budget your life with a variety of goals. "The more the merrier" is the way your subconscious looks at goals.
6. Sell your goals to others. Let everyone know who should know that you have established your aims in life, that this is going to be your new life.
Use these six goal makers and your skill in budgeting your life will increase day by day! (Now turn to the next Practice Project)
Practice Project Five
Write your goals here (don't forget that your subconscious will help you to achieve as many goals as you give it):
1. Major goal-I will accomplish this goal by-month-day-year
Alternative goal-I will accomplish this goal by-month-day-year
2. Major goal-7 will accomplish this goal by-month-day-year
Alternative goal-I will accomplish this goal By-month-day-year
3. Major goal-I will accomplish this goal by-month-day-year
To score a bull's-eye on these goals, keep your "sights" on them and keep firing!

My Success Pattern
List the actions involved in your practice steps (or in any other action where you called the shots).
List everything you can think of that you "planned" and "achieved" and put a check mark after each item in both columns. As fast as you make an achievement in relation to any goal, or any step toward that goal, mark it in the "achieved" column.
Ahead of you are more achievements, and more success as you continue to make things happen.
This is the life pattern of a successful person you!
Practice Project Seven
How To Create Happiness Through Self-Influence
1. Give of yourself.
2. Look for the bright side.
3. Act purposefully.
4. Establish and maintain a working relationship with your God.
5. Seek peace of mind.
Look for opportunities to do these kinds of things on a chosen day. You'll find you can have the same happy experiences every day!
Practice Project Eight
Self-Influence Versus Heredity And Environment

This inventory should prove to you how much power you really have to change your life!
Practice Project Nine
Here's How You Handle Problems 1-2-3
. . . memorize these simple steps:
Step 1. Decide just what the problem is. Simplify it. Eliminate all fuzzy negative issues. Identify the core question. This proves that there is an answer to your problem.
Step 2. After you have simplified the problem, decide what the best answer is. There is a best answer to every problem.
Step 3. Once you have decided on the best answer . . . act on it! Act in response to the positive best answers . . . and turn problems into achievements.
Practice Project Ten
Remember These Six Guides For A Planned, Purposeful Life:
1. Do, positively, the creed that calls for action, performance, production and accomplishment.
2. Deliberately condition your subconscious by what you do consciously. Wholeheartedly want the best outcomes from your actions. Let your subconscious have free rein in demonstrating its great power.
3. Establish in your life a pattern of personal "retreats" where you concentrate on your purpose in life, and look at your progress objectively.
4. Seek guidance, and use all of the readily available resources to equip you with practical, usable knowledge of positive living.
5. Keep your program full of positive, progressive action by having several goals in prospect, on a variety of subjects, at the same time.
6. Take advantage of the full capacity of your subconscious to serve you by deliberately giving your inner mind positive projects to work on, even while you sleep.
This is the basis for the positive plan of your life!
